Hi there! Let us introduce ourselves. We are Casey and Bernadette, the co-founders of ElevatED.
 
Our story began in 2011, when we embarked on our very first year of teaching together. What started as two new teachers, navigating the classroom side by side, has grown into years of friendship, teaching, learning, and a desire to make a greater impact on students. 
 
Over the years, we’ve earned our master’s degrees in teaching and have served on a variety of district planning and curriculum committees aimed at shaping instructional practices. We have trained and supported new teachers entering the profession, participated in national workshops, and engaged in a variety of professional learning opportunities to continually strengthen our practice and stay current with effective teaching strategies.
 
Through all of those experiences, one lesson has continued to stand out: Every child learns differently.
 
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to education. Some students need a little more time. Some need a different explanation. Some need to be challenged in a new way. And sometimes they simply need someone to believe in them and help them discover what they are capable of.
 
That's where ElevatED came to life. We strive to create individualized learning experiences that meet students where they are and help them move forward with confidence.
 
Along the way, we realized that this mission was bigger than just the two of us. We wanted to build a team of educators who share our passion for individualized learning, meaningful relationships, and helping every child thrive. So, we carefully assembled a team of experienced teachers who believe, just as we do, that every student deserves instruction designed specifically for them.
 
Together, we are ElevatED.
 
We are so excited to share what we have learned over the years and, most importantly, to help each student discover that they are capable of more than they may realize.
